Dalarna County

Which EcoDataCenter claim in Dalarna is a commissioned-building figure, which is a later campus target, and which is a marketing envelope — and is Google Horndal a fourth numbered campus? The county sits in bidding area SE3. This register documents an operating-and-expanding campus in Falun, company work plus a 2026 Mistral partnership at the same Borlänge site, and Google construction in Horndal, Avesta. Those are three geographies. They are not added together. County-level spare megawatts are not published here.

Read Falun first, then Borlänge, then the county. The 2025 EcoDC Holding annual report is the dated source for commissioned versus under-construction buildings in Falun. The same report is the dated source for the sentence that EcoDC Borlänge AB is working on a new facility, and that Östersund work was discontinued in autumn 2025. Marketing pages that state 80 MW available power are a third object. Energimarknadsinspektionen’s bidding-area note places the county in SE3; that is a price-area fact, not a connection offer.

A Swedish hall in Dalarna still needs a municipal detailed plan, a building permit and a startbesked, and a network-owner answer. Boverket’s guidance on detaljplan explains the planning instrument; it does not approve a plot. Falu Energi & Vatten appears in operator heat and power wording for Falun. Ellevio appears in a company press item about future power supply. Those names are counterparties to investigate. They are not, in the extracts used here, published connection agreements with a defined import capacity and energization date.

The 2025 report says data centers C and D were fully completed and commissioned and that total capacity at the Falun site increased from 29 MW to 41 MW as of the balance-sheet date. It says construction of E and F began in 2025, with F expected operational in the third quarter of 2026 and E at the end of the fourth quarter of 2026, after which Falun would amount to 65 MW. Those later figures are company expectations. The Falun site page still states 80 MW total available power. Do not add 41, 65 and 80. The IT-versus-facility definition for those megawatts is not fully specified in the extracted wording.

Borlänge is a separate municipality and a separate project record. The annual report does not publish a megawatt figure for that facility. EcoDataCenter’s 11 February 2026 notice with Mistral AI is attached to that same Borlänge record; it is not a second campus. Google Horndal in Avesta is a third geography. The cited Google pages state construction after the June 2026 groundbreaking and a 2028 target; they do not state a campus megawatt. Östersund is not published as an active project. Treating Dalarna as one campus with one capacity number collapses those distinctions.

Common misreads include using the 80 MW sentence as commissioned IT load, using the 65 MW sentence as a present total, and treating SE3 membership as proof that Falun or Borlänge can accept an additional large load. Another misread is to treat heat-recovery language with Falu Energi & Vatten as delivered annual heat. This register does not quantify delivered heat for Falun.

Ask for the latest commissioned-building list, not only the campus envelope. Ask which paper the network owner has issued, and whether the 80 MW “future power supply” sentence is a design envelope, a grid agreement, or marketing. Ask what Borlänge planning and environmental documents the municipality has published, and whether construction is documented or only company purpose. Ask how heat offtake is contracted, not only described.

This county brief proves that Dalarna contains two named EcoDataCenter geographies and a sourced Google construction in Horndal, and that the Falun megawatt series must be kept as dated rows. It does not prove a county residual capacity, does not prove E and F have been commissioned, and does not invent a Horndal megawatt.

• Which EcoDataCenter buildings are commissioned versus still in construction, and on which dated report row?
• Is an 80 MW “available power” figure a design envelope, a grid agreement, or a marketing total?
• What local heat-offtake arrangement is contracted, not only described?
• Has Borlänge published planning or environmental documents, or only company purpose language?
• Are 41 MW, 65 MW and 80 MW being kept as separate rows, or added?
• Which network owner has issued a written position for the Falun plot and for any Borlänge plot?
